You don't have to be a guest to visit the Apple Farm. Stop by on your way through Anderson Valley for a fresh apple juice and a gander through the garden.
From the Bay Area north, take Interstate 101 north to the last Cloverdale exit, which is 128 west. After a half hour of winding road, you will drop down into Anderson Valley. Continue west through Boonville, then Philo. Three miles west of Philo, turn left onto the Elk-Hendy Woods State Park road. The Apple Farm is just off that turn, at the bridge. Turn left into the farm.
