Scheduled Spring and Fall
Whether you are a novice cook or a serious practitioner, gathering in the kitchen with like minded folks is always a treat. Over the course of our weekend we include many different ingredients, techniques, and flavors, and there is plenty of time to answer questions and delve into our subjects. The farm is more productive than ever and provides the foundation of our menus. We send you home stimulated and inspired, with a rejuvenated sense of what it means to live the good life.
The weekend includes 3 hands-on meals and a minimum two nights stay in our cottages or room with a view. Guests help prepare and enjoy Saturday Lunch and Dinner and Sunday Brunch. We start out both mornings with delicious coffee, biscuits or toast and jam and our apple juice.
Often guests like to plan additional outings so it’s good to have an idea of the weekend’s schedule. Review the basic outline below, or get a more detailed description on our Schedule page.
Check in is 3pm on Friday.
Breakfast is available Saturday morning between 8:30 and 9:30, then followed by a farm tour with Tim.
We gather in the kitchen at 10am Saturday to start cooking. We will prepare a light lunch and then break around 2pm.
We regroup in the kitchen around 5pm and aim to be at table by around 7:30pm.
We serve a light breakfast starting at 8:30am on Sunday, then get to work on preparing brunch, aiming to be at table by around 10:30am.
Departure is at noon or one.
We will be serving our favorite modest local wines throughout the weekend as well as our hard cider. However, if you have wines from your cellar that you would like to share with the group, you are welcome to add them to the mix.
